Summer Lacrosse 2011
Last Tuesday we had a decent and quality turnout for the first men's pick up at Dorset Park in 2 years!! A good mix of college guys, post college guys, and a couple of old guys. Quality high school varsity players welcome! Reminder it's at Dorset Park (Cairns Arena) OUT BACK BEHIND RINK, from (5:30) 6:00-Done(7:30, 8-ish); and it will be every Tuesday until Aug. 2.
Field fees and insurance are more $$ than ever, so I'm asking for donations of $7.00-10. per night or $35.00 for the summer. The only way this will work is if: 1) guys show up 2) goalies show up! 3) guys pay 4) we have fun.
Cash or checks made out to "LAKE Champlain L.C."
This is directed for guys, 16 and over, open men's play. Full contact (reasonable), full equipment, full field (unless not enough #'s), SELF REFFED (ie: we ref ourselves, keep under control or stay home). Pass the word. Let others know, dust off the equipment, get out and play.
Yours in lacrosse,
Rob Engelken
